All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions that you will be provided with at the time at which you book a yacht charter holiday with Boat Trip Turkey.
In terms of payment, PayPal transfer for 30% of the total value of your trip is due at the point at which you confirm your booking with us, either by letter, or by completing our online booking form.
If you decide to book with us in advance, in the previous calendar year, a holding deposit of 800€ for overnight trips and 100€ for daily trips is due on the date that the booking is confirmed, while the 30% deposit on the total balance, minus the holding deposit, must be paid in January of the year that you undertake a trip with us.
Although you may confirm your booking with us online, or via a written letter, no contractual agreement between you and Boat Trip Turkey exists until we receive the deposit sum that is due for your particular trip. We will confirm receipt of the funds and details of the trip by letter or email, in due course.
In terms of legalities, the individual who signs the booking form, provided by us, must be 18 years of age or over. It is the responsibility of the lead signatory to disseminate any relevant information to his or her fellow passengers in the lead up to the trip. Upon receiving our booking confirmation, it is recommended that you diligently check all of the information that is contained within the form is correct; if any issues should arise, please notify Boat Trip Turkey of those issues immediately.
Boat Trip Turkey must receive full payment for your trip 8 weeks prior to us setting sail.
Failure to make a payment for the full balance of the holiday could result in its cancellation. In the event of cancellation, owing to our payment terms not being met, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee, the specifics of which are discussed below.
In the event that a trip is booked within 10 weeks of departure, full payment is due at the time at which the booking form is signed.
Although we are at liberty to alter the exact price of our holidays at any time, once we have received a signed booking form, as well as the requisite deposit that is due, the price of your holiday is frozen, and will not change.
VAT increases or the fluctuation of the exchange rate are the only exceptional circumstances in which the price of your holiday may alter.
Cancellations by you
If you decide, for any reason, to cancel your booking, we have a sliding scale of fees which we will enforce:
- Over 56 days before departure: Deposit lost.
- 55-42 days before departure: 50% of trip price is payable.
- 41-22 days before departure: 75% of the trip price is payable.
- Less than 22 days before departure: The full price of the holiday is non-refundable.
In order to avoid any unexpected surprises, we recommend that you ensure that your travel insurance includes cancellation and curtailment cover.
Cancellations by us
In the event of us needing to cancel your holiday,daily or overnight trip, owing to the occurrence of circumstances beyond our control, we will be more than happy to provide a full refund of any money paid, or will be happy to arrange a replacement gulet, with similar specifications, at your request.
In the event of war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, earthquakes, and other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Boat Trip Turkey reserves the right to cancel your trip without liability, responsibility, or compensation.
Changes to our fleet’s specifications
Although it is unlikely that there will be a significant difference between the boat, as advertised, and the vessel on which you will set sail, the nature of our pre-prepared marketing information could lead to some slight variation. If the differences are pronounced, we will offer full disclosure before embarkation.
Arranging adequate travel insurance for your holiday is your responsibility, and it is not included in the price of your trip.
Boat Trip Turkey accepts no responsibility for health and medical issues that arise on-board our vessels, and defers full responsibility for arranging appropriate cover to the individual.
Although the cost of your holiday does not include flights to Turkey or airport transfers, we are able to organise an airport transfer on your behalf. From Dalaman Airport, for a return transfer, we charge a fee of €240 for 4 people and €300 for up to 8 guests.
In terms of administrative tasks, it is your responsibility, as the lead signatory on the booking form, to ensure that every member of the party possesses a valid passport and/or visa.
Upon landing at Dalaman Airport, holidaymakers may be required to purchase an entry visa, which allows you to legally enter Turkey. Please bring a suitable amount of cash to cover this small expense.
