Diving:
Kas is a town made up of fascinating bays, underwater treasures, sunken ships, caves and amphoras, coral reefs and canyons and an ever changing coastline. The town can deservedly boast of being one of the most attractive diving destinations in the Mediterranean and provides perfect conditions with clear crystal clear waters free from strong currents. There are around 15 diving courses within this all-seasons diving destination and Kas boat trips cater for divers of all levels.
However, the period between March and December is when diving activities reach their busiest, attracting divers from all around the world. In Kas, where the water temperature rarely falls below18 C you can attend diving courses or if you own a licence you may enjoy exploring our intriguing sunken ruins. Our diving courses are held in Turkish, German, French and English. If you wish, you can dive as a part of our boat trip or yacht charter services. For more information, please contact us through our website.
Paragliding:
After seeing Kas from below the waves you may also like to explore it from the air. The town is an excellent destination for paragliding with Mount Asas (1000mt) and Kırdavlı Hill (700m) excellent jumping off points. This is an all year round sport with experienced pilots to guide you with the latest equipment on hand. In favourable weather conditions this is an ideal sport. Our pilot will be on hand to take pics as you sail through the air and you can buy your printed photographs later on when safe on soil as a memento to treasure and share around.
Jeep Safari:
The jeep safari to Saklikent has the most comprehensive itinerary of our land activities. The trip from Kas to Saklikent – the longest canyon in Turkey- is a wonderful adventure. It’s an ideal opportunity to enjoy nature and explore the countryside, the mountains, and local village life. We take the hassle out of your having to plan everything in advance so you can relax and savour every minute of your precious holiday time. If the timing is right you can witness the Greek independence celebrations where the locals gleefully push each other in the sea waters of nearby Kasteorizio island. Your driver will find a great spot to stop for the water wars that begin it the mountain village towards Saklikent. You may want to join in playful drenching by the villagers as a prelude to hiking along the canyon with a tour guide, pausing for a dip in cool spring water before lunch. The jeep safari route follows on to Saklikent and includes our visit to Xanthos, the first capital of the Lycian civilisation, rich in history and archeological finds. Finally we stop to enjoy the sun setting over Kaputas Beach before returning to Kas.
